Under the Bing Ji Ling alias, Phenomenal Handclap Band member Quinn Luke's solo work has tended towards the Balearic and downtempo, though there are a few killer dancefloor workouts nestled in his rapidly expanding discography. This two-tracker is another to add to that list, with A-side "Give It To You" offering a suitably celebratory peak-time blend of low-slung dub disco grooves and expertly cut-up orchestral and vocal samples from a glassy-eyed New York disco classic. In contrast, "No Clue" is a little closer in tone to his usual work. While still rolling and dancefloor friendly - helped by a suitably stomping beat - the track's crunchy guitar motifs and jammed-out electronic piano lines come straight from the stoner funk-rock playbook.
